Worst customer service ever.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Talked to 6 different people over a 2 hour time period and they could not text, mail, or e-mail my generic drug descriptions and prices to me. Said they were not able to do so. I am extremely disappointed with your company and will share with as many people as possible my experience with Silverscript/CVS. I would not recommend your company to anyone ever. Steve Donahue 319 430 ****.

Lied About "No Donut Hole"

NO

Original review Jul 22, 2019
I purchased the Silverscript Plus (PDP) plan because I was told there was no "Donut Hole" for my prescription (Eliquis). I intentionally asked the agent to make sure my cost for this prescription would not increase based on my accumulated charges. She assured me it would not increase. My monthly cost for the Eliquis has been $35. Today it became $125. I contacted Silverscript and received no satisfaction. They said "all of their plans have a "donut hole". So, the original agent lied to me and I'm stuck. Lesson learned - don't trust their rep's; get it in writing!

I enrolled in program dependent on medicare approval. Silver Script stated in letter that I requested termination. I never did this. The letter said to call. I did. I got no help to resolve the problem. I was not able to talk to any one who could help. Silver Script has the wrong information, they told me to call if this was wrong, I called and I did not get help. What do I do now. I have no drug coverage for the month of August.

COULD NOT GET MEDICATIONS FOR 81 YEARS CUSTOMERS WITHIN 3 WEEKS.

To Todd Meek, CEO Customer names are Gennadiy and Anna Yevreinov. Gennadiy has been without one of his medications over 2 weeks. First conversation started back to 07/26. Service Representative promised that all medications were set and shipped within 5 bus days - never get them. 5 days later, called back, another Service Representative - could not figured, what was going on and, I had to speak to Supervisor- Britney, she promised all set again. Wait 5 days, never get medications. 08/08/2019 Customer Representative set medications to send. Called 08/09 to verify status, each time has to speak to Supervisor after all. Eventually got tracking numbers today. To get it done( not sure if it my last call) I have to spent approximately 5 hours. Customer Service Representative appear to not be following the same process. Very poor service!!!

Dont sign up with this company. They are completely dishonest. They started doubling my co pays and gave me some nonsense about the manufacturer changing prices from day to day. Did some research and found out the price increases were not justified. When I confronted them with facts they suddenly reduced my co pays. Im changing plans as soon as I can.

DID NOT ORDER SilverScript Insurance

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have written two letters to Silverscripts to cancel and correct their error. I am being charged for services I did not order, I did not give any permission for, and I will NOT pay for. Apparently my letters before were ignored. I consider Silverscripts as pushy and this senior woman will not be bullied by any company. Silverscripts will get no money from me. Sincerely, Sandra K Vaile

You are probably sadly mistaken if you think they care or even read all these complaints, I don't give them my e mail because if I did they are so. money grabbing hungry, they would most probably sell it...

If they can mess something up they will. Customer reps believe what showing on their screens is gospel. Changed my address, got a letter and tried to get customer service. Could not through because they had the correct zip code for mailing but never updated it anywhere else. To talk to someone you have to enter your zip code, took an hour to get through. Denied there any problem on their end. When I got this policy is was set auto withdrawal. They claim this was never done, going to ask for an address to send copies of the faxes and receipt numbers to them .

My script jumped in price

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
One of my prescriptions that had a copay of $20 went to a $89 copay!! I'm of course on fixed income and cannot afford these jumps in prices. SilverScript blames on gap or something I really stopped listening when I was told that the $89 is correct copay!! I'm changing presciption plane as soon as open enrollment!

Misleading

Signed up with SilverScript at the end of last year. Gave them all my drugs to determine price and was told these were 2019 prices.

However, I ordered my drugs couple of months later the prices had all increased. Increases were about 30%.

When I complained I was told prices are never guaranteed. The prices were certainly guaranteed when I signed up and for all of them to increase significantly in a month or two is misleading and downright fraud.

The SilverScript FAQ page states that costs you pay for your drugs may change throughout the year. The reasons are as follows:

  • If your dosage and/or quantity changes for a prescription.

The manufacturer increases the cost of a drug.
  • If you are paying a percentage of that cost, then when the cost increases, both you and your plan will be paying more for the drug.
The most common reason your costs will change depends on which coverage stage you are in. There are four different coverage stages for most Medicare prescription drug coverage plans.

How much you pay for a drug depends on which coverage stage you are in (Deductible, Initial Coverage, Coverage Gap, Catastrophic Coverage Stage). If you need any assistance with your plan, you may contact SilverScript Customer service by phone at (866) 362-6212 or by email at ssi.customer.care@caremark.com.

I first complained about price increases and got the usual runaround. Complained to Medicare and at least they are becoming aware of Silverscrip and will lower their rating so others become aware of their practices.

To make it even worse.

Just reordered through mail and there is anther PRICE INCREASE since the last increase. Will be changing as soon as I can and have warned others including my wife who just turned 65 and picked Optum.

i got a dissability and was told silver script was my insurance for my meds. I was paying around 20 a month for 5 prescriptions that the state helped pay.

at the end of the year i got a letter that says i am no longer am eligible for extra care help. thats how it was worded. these are anti phycotic meds so it a no no to stop taking them cold turkey. the letter came after my meds went up and i couldnt pay for them and luckily a had some in case of emergency.

i got on the phone and called and it was a complete waste of time. i luckely found someone who informed me how to switch coverege and get a fair price.

with me silver script never explained anything to me about rate hikes and the letters sent to me were completely confusing. deffently left a foul taste in my mouth.

Guest

Same thing happened to me. One prescription more than doubled and another increased by 30%.

I got the run around when I called, tried to blame the manufacturer. Both prescriptions are for very old drugs that have been on the market a long time.

Guest

Totally agree, same thing happened to me. One drug up 124% in two months.

Two other drugs went up about thirty percent.

They also took my rescue asthma inhaler off the Formulary that was covered when I researched my costs in December so now I either die or pay full price. Typical Bait and Switch Company!

Same deal for me! My drug costed $250 month.

I went with silver script, and was told my medicine would cost $144.00. So I signed up with Silver Script. Ok and behold! My medicine costed $240 my first month with them, and my second month with them - I will be in my donut hole!!!!!!

O my God! I am so mad!

Price increase mid term

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
So when I priced meds during open enrollment expected that to be the price in 2019. In march RX was 9.83 as quoted. Now in June it is 18.74. Similar situation with other meds. Why is Silver Script changing the price mid term? Not fair!!! Bate & switch tactic. Cant switch to another company that would end up costing less. I'm a hostage due to a lie with a misleading quote.

During my 2019 open enrollment period in late 2018 I was able to go over Every rx my husband has to take and a representative helped me With information about appx cost of each drug. I signed him up And in February 2019 I ordered his drugs at the same or near Same price as I was told at enrollment.

In May 2019 when doing Refills for his meds Silverscript has doubled or tripled the price we we were originally shown at enrollment for 2019. My husband is not In the donut hole and the cvs we use say they have nothing to do With the price we are charged. We have been duped! Sorry I ever Chose this company.

When I called them their excuse was the manufacturer went up on the cost.

Something is fishy going on Here. These were drugs that Have been generic many years, and are standard drugs like Montelukast, Omeprazole, Calitriol, Escitalopram.

Customer Service in the Philipines

I had a question regarding turning off auto pay because social security benefits will take my SilverScript premium out of my benefit. The woman kept telling me I had to apply for benefits I read her my letter but as well but she just kept reading from her script. Asked for a rep in the US and was disconnected.

Denied prescription medicine

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
6-30-2019 In May I ordered meds, & did not discover the ordered meds had not come (was out of town) til was down to five pills. 6-15-19 Called SilverS. and reported it. Was told that was the end of prescription and needed a new one. Phone person filed a lost pill report and ordered a replacement of the lost pills. 6-17-19, I call doctor for new prescription to be faxed. I wait 2+ weeks, no pills and I am out. 6-30-19, I call SilverS and am offered a tracking number for the faxed prescription, but still not the replacement pills. 6-30-19, I am told that the pharmacy determined they had been delivered, so the lost pills were denied. No information on anything was given to me during that 2+ wk period. 6-30-19, I was told I could have my doctor call in a prescription to a local pharmacy (strange but my doctor does not keep weekend hours nor does the pharmacy that I have to use). The call took 32 min. & 44 sec. I was depending on this company to give me medicine in a timely manner and even the fax prescription (which was a repeat of the expired one) took two weeks to fill. Not sure what country it comes from but not fast. I would advise anyone considering this company to think very hard as I do not give them a high rating. Also, they claim Target as one of their preferred pharmacies and quite often it seems that Target is not aware of that fact.
