Defrauded and foreign employees

I spent several hours trying to pay 2 months of premium BECAUSE someone in the far east misused my credit card - so the credit card payment was rejected BECAUSE I had to get a new number card. THEN I got sent to the Philippine Islands by phone because she wanted my new cc number. I'm not that stupid. The fourth try I got someone who spoke better English but she refused to tell me where she was located. 20 Million unemployed people in the USA and this outfit uses foreign workers. SHAMEFUL! I will go somewhere else for part D coverage.

User's recommendation: Do not use a medicare D company who uses foreign workers - a lot of USA people need jobs! And don't give foreign workers your cc number.

Refuse to pay for rx to save my life

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

To Whom It May Concern:

On 3/24/2020, I picked up an Rx from CVS for 20 mg Xarelto and paid $462. The RX should have been for 15mg , not 20mg.

After discovering on 4/3/2020 that I was given the incorrect dosage amount, I purchased the Xarelto 15 mg and paid $375.70

CVS, silver script, and I participated in a conference call on 4/3/2020 at 12:30 which lasted 52 minutes, and I called 866-235-****. It is my understanding that those phone calls are recorded.

During this phone conversation I was provided with the cost of the Xarelto 15 mg via SilverScript would be $571. During this conversation I asked , CVS Pharmacy manager, if I could apply my GoodRX discount, he stated yes, and I purchased the 15mg for $375.70. I asked the SilverScript representative.

If Silver script was affiliated with GoodRx, he stated yes. I called (866-235-**** at 10:55 am) SilverScript again today to obtain the name of a SilverScript employee Steven, and to see what my co-pay would be for the 15mg Xarelto $462, and that the $462 I paid on 3/23/2020 was not received by SilverScript.

I received the attached notice stating that 15 mg has been approved. The 15 mg was only for 21 days, and that expired on 4/15/2020. As of today, I am to start taking the 20 mg dosage.

For your review I am attaching copies of phone messages left for me, RX invoices, original rx, and letter from SilverSpript.

From the onset this has been troubling, and each day it only gets worse.

I need someone to look into this matter for me, and advise. Why the lies?

I have a zero copay, without warning, I have to pay for my prescriptions that are currently on their formulary

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have had this Medicare part D insurance for quite some time. They have always had drugs on their formulary for a while, then remove them, forcing you to something cheaper that maybe less affective.

At this point, there is nothing else that I can switch to.

I have gone over my out of pocket amount and I now have a zero copay. I went to pick up my same prescriptions at the same pharmacy that I have always used, but this time, instead of my zero copay, I had to pay full price because SilverScript was not paying the pharmacy!

The pharmacy said that the price that they have to pay for my medication has increased significantly & SilverScript is refusing to renegotiate the contracted agreement. The pharmacy can’t afford to sell the medication at that much below cost.

When I called SilverScript, the first two customer service reps had no clue how their own industry even works. Each time that I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was left on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes.

The last rep., Perry, claimed to be a supervisor, but I felt that he may have just been a guy in the next cubicle. He was pretty condescending. I reminded him that I had met my obligations, my medication was on their formulary and nowhere did it say that there were exceptions to its coverage. I explained that no other pharmacy in my town both carried my medication & accepted my insurance.

I told him that nobody can stay in business selling their products far below cost and he told me that most pharmacies do. I asked him to give me a list of pharmacies in my town who stocked my medication, accepted my SilverScript plan & would fill my prescriptions for the zero copay that I am due. He could not provide it. As this occurred on a Friday afternoon after my Doctors office had closed, there was no way to have the doctor e-scribe the prescriptions to another pharmacy anyway.

I asked him to please cover my prescriptions at least this time, so that I could get both of them (I could only afford to pay for one) & have time to sort this out finding valid options. He refused. I asked to speak with his supervisor, he claimed that there was no one above him. He wasn’t the CEO, so that couldn’t have been true.

He was absolutely of no help. When I explained that SilverScript was in breach of contract with me, the insured, he put the whole thing off on the pharmacies & couldn’t have cared less that I would be going at least through the weekend without my medication. Now, I am having to seek pharmacies in the surrounding towns that have my medication, accept my SilverScript plan & are willing to take the loss by filling my prescriptions below cost for a zero copay, so that Monday morning when my doctors office opens, I can call to have a new prescription e-scribed. That is IF I can find one.

So far, NONE can meet that criteria!

By the way, SilverScript doesn’t allow tweets or views by the public on Twitter, most likely so that potential new policy holders can’t see bad reviews

SilverScript is a prime example of what is wrong with healthcare in America. It is not the healthcare system, it is GREEDY INSURANCE COMPANIES THAT DO NOT CARE!!!

Time to find another Part D insurance, I would say. Prescription drug prices have gone up considerably the past year and if you need a brand name drug, your insurance will not cover it as before.

You need to contact your physician and see if you can go with a generic or some other drug with similar effects. And, of course, get a better insurance plan come this fall for next year. Your doctor's office should be able to help you find a solution. However, you claim a loss of $23, which doesn't seem that outrageous.

Just drop the cell phone for awhile and pay for the prescription instead. Or, cancel Netflix, cable or other non-essential pleasures.

SilverScript begins pattern of hiking co-pays without notice

SilverScript begins pattern of hiking co-pays without notice

One prescription I take went from a $13 copay to $126 in one month, a hike of nearly 10 times the previous price. A pattern of deceit began two months ago when a prescription I'd taken for years doubled the copay from $21 to $42.

I appealed twice and was twice denied. The CEO of CVS, Larry Merlo, makes $23 million. By the look of his picture, his puffy face suggests he's using our money for a high-fat diet that no doubt includes lots of bacon grease and gallons of Opus One. Wish me luck.

Today I go into battle over the new $126 copay for Viibryd.

The drug's fine print says "may cause thoughts of suicide." SilverScript as it relates to CVS might be looking at charges of manslaughter. As you can see by the stock ticker, attached, CVS/SilverScript and its vaunted CEO is taking company losses out of seniors on Part D.

This the second year I went with Silver Script, never again. At first my medications were reasonable, then that letter you get in the mail that shows how mush you paid and how much they paid,it showed they p aid paid for all my medications and I paid nothing.I called and complained, and I could prove what I had paid.He said he would send papers so I could get my money back.Sometime later I got papers from Care Mark, which is CVS.I fill them out,and had all my proof attached, but they said was over ten days,of course it was,it took over ten days to the papers.I had new prescriptions my doctor called in,I had a sinus infection, well because I'm 76,they said it cost me more because the price is more if you are 52.What ? That prescription for 14 little pills cost me 28.00,and my blood pressure pills which were 3.70,now cost 18.00.I have the cost of the Silver Script plan taken out of my social security check.I'm done with these crooks.

They lowered CO-PMTS. so we could afford the better Higher cost meds.

But the retail cost they change your acct.

is higher, so you get in the (donut-hole) much quicker!!! JP

I agree anything owned by CVS is very high and will do anything to get your money. They constantly increase your drug prices.

They have joined AT&T and moved customer service off shore. I do not talk to Asians for any services!!!!!

My Rosuvastatin (Crestor) went up from $60.00 for three months to 125.41 for three months from 2019 to 2020. Plus they haven't paid a penny for the two scripts I got this year. I have paid the total amount they have paid zero. I will be changing plans this fall.

SilverScript was purchased by Aetna!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Well Folks,

LET THE BUYER BE AWARE:

Silver Scripts Insurance Company

The Truth and nothing but the Truth!

Did you know “Aetna” purchased “Silver Scripts”!

Aetna Insurance purchased Silver Scripts Medicare Plans D. This implies in the last “TWO YEARS Aetna has purchased and/or sold Four Insurance companies” and Medicare allows this type of Firm to do Medicare Insurance Plans!

WOW that is so sad that our “Great Land called: United States of America” does business this way.

Here are the Company Names Aetna purchased and/or Sold:

1.First Healthcare Insurance

2.Than Coventry (Which Does Not Exist in USA)

3.Wellcare Insurance

4.Silver Scripts Insurance

Silver Scripts Plan D Drug Plans: “Is a Very Bad and Fraudulent Insurance Company in the United States of America”

Because this Insurance Company is owned and managed by; Aetna Insurance and are still are using their management tactics with Silver Scripts as directed to their customers and new members.

September 23-24 ****:

I have spent over; 10 hours with Silver Scripts only to find out that they are known Aetna today.

After many issues with Aetna in the past year as stated we do not want anything to do with Aetna the rest of our lives! We finally started all over again and went with another Medicare Insurance Company.

DETAILS AND HISTORY ON AETNA/SILVER SCRIPTS:

After spending hours with Silver Scripts nothing has been resolved on the above issues on that: 8 Employee and 4 Managers did not state that they are Aetna today because they purchased us.

Another issue with Aetna/Silver Scripts they are not too be believed, because they are “Liars, Cheats, Frauds” just like Aetna or Aetna Coventry or whatever their name is today.

WOW!

We got is type of service from Aetna/Silver Scripts that is so sad that our United States allows this type of Insurance to do business in our great county.

NOT TO GO WITH “AETNA/SILVER SCRIPTS INSURANCE COMPANY”

If you still want do business with Aetna/Silver Scripts you will find out the same treatment in which we had to go thru as stated above!

IN SUMMARY:

Go to another insurance Company and keep away from Aetna!

I don’t agree. I spent time with an Aetna Rep 2 days as go and actually got a better Plan D Silverscript for next year.

I get the bill, but can't access my account. I have tried several times and I get locked out of signing in. I am canceling.

Guest

I agree with all of the prior feelings related to Aetna. I had them years ago when they were in Maryland and then they left.

I was very happy with silver script until this latest round with Aetna. Not only has Aetna decided my covered medication was no longer necessary, I had to switch to a lesser known depression medication that was cheaper and the original medication MY DOCTOR PRESCRIBED WAS WORKING JUST FINE. I had no choice but go along with Aetna's decision. And here I go again with a another medication that Silver Script had make an exception for to cover and now because a pre-authorization date was missed Aetna is refusing to cover my medication.

I have submitted an exception and now need to get a law judge involved.

CAN'T WAIT TIL OCOTBER TO FIND ANOTHER DRUG PLAN!!!!!!! Aetna is BAD CHOICE

Recieved bill from silverscript perscription drug plan for January. Premium has doubled.

Went from $32.00 for December to $64.00. Who can i complain to and get results?

Nikolaos Ugb

Wasted four days and 11 hours trying to get someone in the "Silver Script/Aetna Part D to input my physical address after receiving a letter stating if they don't get the physical address by 12/27/20 then they will not give me Part D prescriptions. Today was the last straw after dealing with 8 different 800 numbers I was "handed off to, aka dumped from" I got a woman that was so rude.

She stated "How blunt do I have to be to tell you that I don't do this" and she was in enrollment, which was what I was trying to do. Why was I sent to her from a fellow employee then, she was so rude and didn't want to help out at all. But after the four days of being pushed off to some other group in the Aetna world, I just gave up. Called Medicare, cancelled the Silver Script and went with a totally different provider.

We as customers shouldn't be treated in such a inhuman way. They are having SERIOUS PROBLEMS at Aetna with their customer service. Really deplorable service.

I am so glad I dumped them and went with someone else. What is the old adage - "you get what you pay for" and going the lowest premium in this instance is not the best course of action.

Guest

Silver Scripts entry PDP plan for 2021 is $7.20 per month...What is their Enrollment Bonus from the Federal Government that they receive for each new enrollee?

Guest

thanks for the information. Which insurance do you recommend?

Aayla Owp

Have been very happy with Silver Script for many years with expensive drugs and good customer service.

Guest

This post makes no sense.

as an independent agent I would encourage you to find one and let them help you pick out a plan. This would have eliminated a lot of the confusion you have about the product. Why are not using the VA program for some or all your RX.
