Called to cancel my subscription and two different individuals told me that I was required by law to maintain Part D since I am 65. I may be old, but I'm not stupid.

I told the second one that I had spoken to Medicare and his information was not accurate.

I understand that if I sign up at a later time I will be penalized, but that is a risk I am willing to take. He said, "yes, you'll pay a penalty", thereby acknowledging that he was not truthful when he said that Part D coverage is mandatory.

He finally agreed to send a form for me to end the agreement. SilverScript is the last company I would select if were to maintain Part D coverage.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $294.

Preferred solution: Let me cancel my coverage; quit lying to your customers!.

SilverScript Cons: Dishonest and trying to exploit money from seniors.

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
